By using the Kilo app (“Application”), you are deemed to have accepted these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the application.
1. Acceptance and Use#
By downloading, installing, or using the Kilo app, you agree to these Terms. You may only use the app for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You may not use it for illegal or prohibited purposes.
2. Account Security and Responsibility#
You are responsible for your account and the security of your account information. You must keep your account details confidential and protect them from unauthorized access. You are responsible for all actions and activities carried out through your account.
If you suspect unauthorized use, contact us immediately.
You are responsible for the accuracy and currency of the information you save in the app (personal data, health information, nutrition logs, etc.).
3. Health and Nutrition Information#
The Kilo app provides nutrition tracking, exercise plans, and general health suggestions. However, the app does not replace professional medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.
All information and suggestions in the app are for informational and general guidance purposes only.
If you have serious health issues, a special medical condition, or plan to make dietary changes, you should consult a healthcare professional first.
Although the app takes reasonable care regarding calorie calculations, nutritional values, and other data, it does not guarantee complete accuracy. The food database and calculations contain approximate values.
4. Premium Membership and In-App Purchases#
The Kilo app offers premium features with monthly, quarterly, and yearly subscription options.
Pricing
In-app purchases are processed through the Apple App Store, and prices are determined by Apple. Prices may change without prior notice.
Auto-Renewal
Premium subscriptions renew automatically. Renewal occurs 24 hours before the current subscription period ends.
You can disable auto-renewal through your device settings or App Store account settings.
Refund Policy
Refunds are subject to Apple’s Refund Policy. You must use Apple’s official refund process to request a refund. For details, refer to the Refund Policy section.
Free Trial
Some premium plans may include a 7-day free trial. After the trial, the membership automatically converts to a paid subscription unless you cancel it.
If you cancel during the trial, you will not be charged.
5. User Content and Data#
All data you save in the app (nutrition logs, photos, exercise data, weight logs, etc.) is your responsibility. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and appropriateness of this data.
The processing of your personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy. You can review the Privacy Policy to learn how your data is collected, used, and protected.
If you delete the app or close your account, your data may be retained for a certain period. After this period, your data will be permanently deleted.
6. Intellectual Property Rights#
The Kilo app and all its content (text, graphics, logos, icons, visuals, software code, etc.) are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works, or use any part of the app’s content, software, design, or branding for commercial purposes without permission.
All rights belong to the owner of the application. Using the app does not grant you any ownership rights.
7. Service Interruptions and Changes#
We do not guarantee uninterrupted operation of the application. Services may be temporarily interrupted due to maintenance, updates, technical issues, or other reasons.
We reserve the right to modify, update, or remove app features, content, or functionality without prior notice.
Important changes or interruptions may be announced in advance when possible, but this is not mandatory.
8. Disclaimer of Liability#
The application is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the app will operate flawlessly, continuously, securely, or without errors.
We are not responsible for any direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of the app (including data loss, loss of profit, business interruption, etc.).
We are not responsible for any health issues or damages resulting from recommendations, calculations, or information within the app.
We are not responsible for issues caused by third-party services (Apple, Firebase, Adapty, etc.).
9. Prohibited Uses#
You may not use the Kilo app for the following purposes:
- Violating any law or regulation
- Violating the rights of others
- Spreading malware, viruses, or harmful code
- Attempting to disrupt the security or functioning of the app
- Reverse engineering, hacking, or attempting to crack the app
- Using automated systems or bots
- Attempting to access others’ accounts without authorization
- Sending spam or unwanted content
10. Account Cancellation and Termination#
You may close your account at any time by deleting the app or closing your account from the account settings.
If you violate the Terms, we may suspend or terminate your account without prior notice.
Closing your account does not automatically cancel your premium subscription. You must manually cancel it from your Apple App Store settings.
11. Privacy#
Your personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy. By using the app, you are deemed to have accepted our Privacy Policy.

12. Changes to the Terms#
We reserve the right to change these Terms at any time without prior notice. Important changes may be announced within the app or via email.
By continuing to use the app after changes are made, you accept the revised Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the app.
13. Governing Law#
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Turkey.
Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved by Turkish courts.

15. General Provisions#
If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid, the remaining provisions will remain in effect.
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and us and supersede all prior agreements.
Unless otherwise stated in writing, verbal agreements are invalid.
Notifications may be delivered through in-app messages or emails sent to your registered email address.
